Last year a couple weeks before Halloween, Tabb from Freefly hit us up about the soon to be released Movi Pro they were launching and wanted to know if we would like collaborate on a video project showcasing it. We jumped at the chance and began our mad scramble on preproduction for the soon to be titled “Neckface” Movi Pro project. The idea was to film our crazy friend Neckface terrorizing down town LA at night, all shot using available light.

Red helped us out with the new 8K Red Weapon and ZEISS came on board with their ZEISS Compact Prime CP.2 Super Speeds and we were all set! Once we began shooting, we were amazed at the combo of 3200 ISO at 8K, with the super fast 1.5 aperture of the ZEISS lenses. Being able to run around down town and use street lights and the moon for our light sources gave us the ability to speed things up and grab shots at a break neck speed.
Watch the final video now:
The light weight ZEISS Compact Prime CP.2 Super Speed lenses paired perfect with the new Movi pro and are a must have for low light.
